BP Oil Spill

JoeOfTheJungle's picture

Well, it's been quite a while since Tuesday, April 20, 2010 when the BP oil spill occurred. Now, there is news that the oil has washed up on the sand of nearby beaches. This disaster is taking way too long to fix and I don't understand why. Last time I checked, lots of money always fixes everything.

Any predictions for when this leak will be fixed?

I think soon, every company

I think soon, every company has its mistakes and its downfalls. If we believe them or not, I'm sure the world and certain environmental agencies will be paying closer attention to them now. That's for sure.

Good progress was made now from their LMRP Cap and Q4 systems

"Total oil recovered from both the LMRP Cap and Q4000 systems since they were implemented is approx. 684,700 barrels. An additional 22,000 barrels were collected from the RIT tool earlier in May bringing the total recovered to approx. 706,700 barrels."

So, my prediction is, within the next couple weeks.

July 16 (my b-day)
